Hello, District 202 Education Partners,

Hope you're enjoying this amazing early Fall weather. Here is this week’s selection of D. 202 news and information:

RETURN ‘20

  • We also updated the Remote Learning Expectations for students based on the results of the recent Remote Learning parent/student/staff survey.
  • Work has started to slowly bring students back for in-person learning.
  • Multi-needs special education and Preschool/Kindergarten families have received preliminary information and surveys to share their attendance preferences.
  • Multi-needs students will return on October 26th. Preschool/Kindergarten students are scheduled to return the week of November 2nd.
  • Families of older students will receive similar information and surveys as their time to return approaches between now and early January.

As a reminder, here is the information published on September 28th about the process to return to in-person learning.

CENSUS

  • A federal judge has extended the deadline to complete the 2020 Census until October 31st, (for now, anyway.)

So, again, please take a minute to complete the Census if you have not already. This is critically important to our state and community:

Homecoming looks a little different in 2020. Spirit Weeks moved online and students sent photos showing off their crazy hair, future career choice and school spirit.
