Regular attendance is required for all students at Creekside. It is our responsibility to report regular attendance to the State of Illinois. We highly encourage parents to send their child to school every day.

Consider this:

• Students who are late even 5 minutes per day lose out on 14.5 hours of instruction.

• Students have Math 60 minutes per day. If Students miss 1 day per week, they are missing out on a full day and a half (36 hours) of instruction.

• Research shows that missing 10 percent of the school, or about 18 days in most school districts, negatively affects a student’s academic performance. We also know that illness happens. When your child is ill, please keep them home. Children with vomiting and fever need to be symptom free for 24 hours without medication.
