Teacher Appreciation Week

Teacher Appreciation Week is a time for our community to come together and express gratitude for the incredible dedication and hard work of our educators. From guiding students through challenges to igniting their passion for learning, teachers play a vital role in shaping the future. iReady Testing: Grades K, 1, 3, and 4

i-Ready is an adaptive assessment that presents students with questions that can be both too easy and too hard. It is designed to do this until the assessment finds exactly the level at which the student is performing. Therefore, students will certainly have seen some items above his or her level.
The assessment efficiently assesses students across multiple grade levels, allowing for identification of root causes of students’ struggles; or for identification of areas where a student is ready for further challenge. The results of the adaptive assessment provide teachers with an instructional course of action personalized for each student.
Students will be taking the English/Language Arts assessment on Tuesday & Wednesday. The Math Assessment will be taken on Thursday & Friday.

PSHS Summer Boys Basketball Camp

PSHS will be hosting a boys basketball camp for students in grades 6-12. Current 5th graders may enroll in camp as they will be 6th graders next year.
The basketball camp runs from June 3- 7th, 9am- 11am

District Wellness Events

The District will be hosting several Wellness Events for dental exams, immunizations, physicals, etc. Please see the links below for more information.

YMCA Kidzone 2024-2025

Registration for the 2024/2025 Kid Zone program will open Saturday, April 27th. The YMCA is excited to partner with District 202 to offer our Kid Zone program in all District 202 elementary schools this fall.
Attached is the YMCA Registration flier for the 2024/2025 school year. The YMCA is having a registration sale from April 27th through May 6th where the $45 registration fee is being waived.
