District 202 offers a full range of educational programs for students ages three to five years old.

The main location for our preschool programming is Bonnie McBeth Learning Center, however, there are preschool programs located across District 202.

District 202 preschool programs are dedicated to the success of our students, guiding them as early learners to create and contribute to their learning experience.

Our programs follow the Illinois Early Learning Standards for Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, Physical Development and Health, Fine Arts, Foreign Language and Social/Emotional Development.

Our staff uses “Teaching Strategies Gold,” one of the developmentally appropriate curriculums recommended by the National Association for the Education of Young Children and the Illinois State Board of Education.

The framework of Teaching Strategies encompasses how and what children learn, their physical environment, and the role of the teacher and parent.
