The Foundation for Excellence is an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to enriching and enhancing learning for students enrolled in Plainfield School District 202. The Foundation promotes excellence and achievement for all learners, encourages innovation in the teaching/learning process and enhances collaboration between the Foundation and the community.

The Foundation fulfills its mission by funding grants, scholarships, special projects, district wide programs and community based initiatives. The Foundation for Excellence was established in 1983 by visionary community members who valued education and wanted to make resources available to extend learning. The commitment to that vision has remained steadfast through the years.

The Foundation for Excellence is honored to partner with many generous corporate, business and individual donors for the benefit of students and staff of District 202.
