Parents Recognizing Individual Development Excellence

The 2009-10 school year marked the founding of Plainfield’s first Gifted/Honors Parent/Teacher Advocacy Council named P.R.I.D.E..  The purpose of this Council is to provide a forum to address the wide variety of needs of our gifted students, opportunities for discussion and sharing of gifted issues and to create a connection with the National and Illinois Associations of Gifted Children (N.A.G.C., I.A.G.C.). PRIDE also plans events and shares resources including a newsletter for families of gifted children in the Gifted/Honors Program in District 202.
