Former Lincoln Elementary School Assistant Principal Dr. Debra Coberley has been tapped as the next building principal.
The District 202 Board of Education approved her hire at its January 24, 2024 regular meeting.
Coberley was the assistant principal at Lincoln from 2014 to 2017.
She has 22 years of experience in District 202.
Coberley has served as a teacher, differentiation specialist, and most recently as a reading specialist.
“These diverse roles have equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of the educational landscape and have prepared me to effectively lead and support the Lincoln Elementary community,” she said.
Coberley is dedicated to working with teachers, students,
and their families to achieve remarkable outcomes and create a learning environment that inspires excellence, she said.
District 202 Assistant Superintendent for Administration and Personnel Jen Orlos echoed Coberley’s vision for the future.
“Dr. Coberley comes to Lincoln with a wealth of elementary teaching and leadership experience,” Orlos said.
“We are very excited to welcome her.”
