Plainfield South High School sustained moderate roof and interior water damage during last night’s storm.
“This includes damage to the roof over the southwest side of the school, hallways and 12 classrooms,” Director of Facilities Jason Khuen said.
Administration is working closely with local agencies and repairs are underway as of Tuesday morning.
The school has power and is functioning as normal during these repairs.
No other District 202 school was impacted during the storm.
