Twenty-three students from District 202 elementary and middle schools will attend the 2025 Illinois Music Education Association Junior All-State Conference in Peoria later this month.

The conference is from January 29 to February 1, 2025.

Seventh and eighth-grade students will rehearse on Friday, January 31, while fifth and sixth-grade students will rehearse on Saturday, February 1.

All ages will perform at the Peoria Civic Center on Saturday afternoon. This is the first year District 202 middle school students will attend the state conference.

The one-day junior and elementary chorus events are in conjunction with the Illinois Music Education Association’s state conference and all-state student programs for high school students.

These fifth graders will perform in the elementary All-State Chorus at the conference on February 1.
