Middle school eighth graders are in Washington, D.C. this Presidents’ Day weekend to visit monuments and learn about our nation’s history.
Four students – Brennen Dooley, Aux Sable; Daniel Miller and Grace Willis, Heritage Grove; and Kendall Harrington, Indian Trail – will lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Solider at 8:15 a.m. (Central Time) Sunday, February 18, 2024.

Congratulations to Plainfield North High School junior Rahiba Othman, who won the Louis Joliet Daughters of the American Revolution American History Essay Contest. Her essay was on Alexander Hamilton and also won at the district and state levels.
