Congratulations to the Plainfield North High School boys' cross country team on its 2nd-place finish at the state meet on November 4.
Thank you to District 202 School Board members for their time, service, and leadership while striving to create the best education environment possible with the resources available.
School board members are volunteers elected to safeguard two of our community's most precious resources, our children and tax dollars.
Board members serve as advocates striving for quality education opportunities for every student. The members of our board take on this responsibility, not for a paycheck, but for their commitment to our community and its children.
Our board members spend multiple hours each month on district work, attending meetings, and other responsibilities most will never hear or read about.
Thank you for all you do to make District 202 a great place.

🦉🔍 Exploring the World of Owls: Owl Pellet Dissection! 🔍🦉
Today, Ridge Elementary School fifth graders embarked on a fascinating journey into the world of owls and their diets. The young scientists had a blast working with owl pellets to uncover the secrets hidden within. 🌿🦴
🔎 What's an Owl Pellet? These are regurgitated masses of undigested bits that owls expel after a tasty meal.
🔬 The Process: Armed with tweezers, magnifying glasses, and a chart to short contents, students carefully dissected the pellets, meticulously sorting through the contents. They're like little archaeologists, excavating history! 🦴💼
🤔 What Did They Learn? Students gained a deeper appreciation for the role of owls in our ecosystem and how their diet reflects their environment. It's all about the circle of life! 🌎🦉
Thanks to Jenna Krukowski, Interpretive Naturalist with the Forest Preserve District of Will County, for being the guide on this fun adventure.

🧡It was pumpkin math day for first graders at Walker’s Grove Elementary School.🧡 The students got their hands dirty while estimating the weight and height as well as the number of seeds in their pumpkins. Then each group carved a pumpkin. Wonderful parent volunteers helped the students with this hands-on special experience.
